2016 - Day 270:
You see what I did there? :P Fun little tattoo design of a Koi-like fish. Drawn in red ink and then altered in photoshop. The original is actually much brighter than this and does not feature the circle background, but I like making my digital alterations drastically different from my sketches.

Kneeling Angel Tattoo Design

2016 - Day 254:
Completed a piece for final revision for a client that was looking to cover up an old tattoo with something fresh and new, so he decided to get a kneeling angel with a quote that means a lot to him. Most often at this stage we are all finished, but since I initially complete pieces to the way I like them, there are sometimes revisions after this point to fix features to the way the client prefers if that is their wish, so we'll see if this piece needs to be revisited for some changes.

For some reason when I downsized the image to display it's low-resolution version here it made the font go all choppy, so apologies there!

Brother Owl Tattoo Design

2016 - Day 88:
I can finally share with you all one of the 2 big projects I have been working on. This one is a very special custom tattoo design. I am very proud of how this has turned out and it will definitely be finding it's way into my general portfolio shortly. I had several hiccups along the way but in the end I am very happy with how this ended up and hope you enjoy it too. :)
(The second set of wings is an alternate design we toyed around with, so the final piece is just a regular owl, no extra wings ;P )

As always, please respect that this is not a free to use design, it was custom made for a client for their use only.

Wolf Head Tattoo Design in Neo-Trad

2016 - Day 18:
Today was a helluva busy day, so unfortunately I've just got a quick piece for you guys today. Pencil sketch scanned in and cleaned up a little with some colours added in. (Normally I'd redraw the lines entirely to get them crystal clean, but this served the purpose since it's just a concept design). Also playing around with a symbol signature, but I don't think it's quite right yet.
Wolf Head design in Neo-traditional style. Enjoy :)

Scorpion Chest Tattoo Design

2016 - Day 16:
Commissioned chest design of a scorpion and thorns thriving amidst a raging fire. This one was a lot of fun to play around with, not only to shape it so that it fit one pectoral muscle and led it's way along the shoulder, but also in the way the fire layers among the scorpion's many feet. We also decided to use hard outlines on the scorpion and leave the fire with a more painted look that lends itself well to the newer watercolour techniques as well as keeping the main focus on the scorpion himself.

Vintage Tattoo Commission

2016 - Day 14:
This was a commission for a custom designed tattoo. Vintage in style, it was a memorium for the client's grandparents who were a barber and seamstress respectively. Combining the scissors with a rosary and the symbols of Sicily brought the piece together into a nice and neat arrangement.
Custom designs like this are what make tattoos so special forever. Nobody wants to see someone else with the same design, so it's always worth getting something made that is unique to you.

I'm always open to tattoo designs. If you'd like me to help make yours, I would love to work with you! Please have a look through my portfolio to get an idea of what style you're after and then fire me an inquiry through my contact page [ here ]
