365 Day Project Complete

2016 - Day 367: (<- I derped on the counting along the way and did 2 extra days ;P)
This completes my 365 day challenge, and I have to say that I'm relieved. Thank you so much to everyone who has followed along, liked my work, commented, reblogged, reposted, or even just dropping in to take a glance every once in a while. I truly appreciate the support and cannot thank you guys enough! <33

This year long challenge has been a difficult one, and at the end of the year, even though I accomplished my goal, I'm kind of... looking back and feeling unhappy about it. I feel like a lot of the days I rushed through work just to have something to share with you guys and that it didn't really benefit me or you in the end. So, with that being said, I am ending this challenge here, and setting myself a new goal. I want to work on less pieces at a time, to give each one more love and attention, and more specifically to complete 1 fully rendered piece (in any style) every month that I am proud of. I think this will allow me to not only work on finetuning my skills in the areas I want to improve, but I think it will also make me happier with my own work. We are our own worst critics, and I am trying to get out of that self-depricating rut because whenever I fall in my work suffers. So that's just no good. Gotta stop that. And your support, and my lovely husband's constant encouragement, is what helps me get out of that state of mind and looking forward to providing you guys with more content to enjoy. So thank you thank you thank you. Onwards and forwards into the new year!
